INCLUDES ANSWERS! Proportion worksheet about best buys, comparing the different quantities, differentiated for Red / Amber / Green, getting trickier as the questions progress. I used this for a Year 7 Higher class and a Year 9 foundation class, with the aim as well for them to pick out the key points. As a bonus, there’s a theme running through this (Star Wars).

The worksheet is differentiated into Red / Amber / Green. I used this for my Y7 Higher and Y9 Foundation class. As a bonus, the theme running through this is Harry Potter! Aimed at KS3 (for my Year 7 Higher group), it is to stretch their substitution capabilities, introducing them to the quadratic formula, not explaining what its about, but just to get them started on that key skill of substituting the values.
