Christmas Science: Energy of Christmas Dinner

(1)
Short little powerpoint that gets pupils to choose their ideal Christmas dinner and then calculate the energy in kJ that it would provide. PPT then goes onto more calculations where pupils figure out how many of their Christmas dinners they would need in order to swim the channel, climb Everest or walk to London (distance based on the Midlands) Summarise their findings on a poster. Just a bit of fun! If you like it/find it useful then please leave a review
