My name is Marriyah Malik, I have graduated with an upper 2:1 via a BA hons in English Language and TEFL this year. Following my degree, I am currently enrolled on a PGCE secondary English course which I will complete in 2021. My teaching experience ranges from teaching within a primary school to teaching adults from around the world at my university for my TEFL qualification. I have also gained admin/pastoral experience in a secondary school within Luton in order to understand the importance and variety of roles that impact young people's lives and the communication that occurs between teachers and non teachers within schools. I have developed my transferable skills through working as a marketing assistant and an ambassador for a youth organisation for 11-18 year olds, as well as pursuing a marketing position within an insulation company where I have booked telephone consultations.
