Here is a work book I have created for the legacy Edexcel GCSE in Religion and Life (unit 1) and Religion and Society (unit 8) course. I only have 3 time tabled lessons per cycle and rely heavily on this work book to help structure my students revision. This work book aims to help structure students revision, they will need to use their exercise books/revision guides/revision cards to help them. Based on the AQA GCSE specification. This revision guidebook covers all major aspects of the Christianity unit, including both beliefs and teachings and practices. This booklet is designed to consolidate student knowledge as well as develop understanding of scripture.

This resource is an entire unit of work on the topic of Christian Worship. This work is perfect to use for remote learning as all of the information needed is within the booklet. Student feedback has been really positive despite the level of challenge present within the topics covered. This work book comes complete with an assessment, writing structure and mark scheme. Topics included: What is Christianity? What is God like in Christianity? What is the role of the Church? How do Christians worship? What is Christian pilgrimage? What are the sacraments? Assessment Assessment mark scheme I have completed this unit with my two Year 8 mixed ability groups and they were all able to engage with the work set, due to the three levels of challenge in the tasks provided. I set the majority of this work to be completed independently, however did hold some Teams lessons to discuss the content with students. They enjoyed both forms of lesson.
