This 7-page workbook on kitchen utensils is ideally suited as part of teaching the basisc in Food and Nutrition. Learners work through different aspects of cooking equipment used in the food technology lessons and real life kitchen situations, i.e. pots and pans, utensils for dishing out etc… This is an ideal resource for learners to complete in class, as revision, home learning, homework or cover work. Tasks include matching, discussing and explaining uses of items and skills learned. A recipe task asks learners to extract the ingredients, list the equipment needed and think about the skills applied. The final task is a research task which requires learners to reflect on and apply what they have learned in this workbook. Halloween word searches German

This resource features 2 differentiated word searches, wholly in German, each with 2 versions, i.e. a picture only puzzle and one showing the words as well as the pictures. 4 puzzles altogether… These word searches can be used in a variety of ways, e.g. give learners a word puzzle to solve first. Then, let them test their memory and spelling later on by asking them to complete the other word search. It doesn’t matter which of the two puzzles learners start on. Please kindly respect that it took a while to write up the enclosed sheets, so be fair to me and do not pass this resource to colleagues unless you or your school have purchased the school licence for this resource too. Thank you. :) If you like this resource, please leave me a review. Follow me to see what else is new in my store at any time. Thank you. :) ©MosaiK

Ideal for classwork, distance learning, revision, homework, this 7-page workbook and the picture + word cue cards will take your AQA or EDEXCEL GCSE students through the various aspects of food choice. In this highly and colourfully illustrated workbook, learners will work through personal, social, socio-economic, medical, religious, cultural, ethical and moral food choices. Tasks include matching pictures to skills areas and methods, applying thinking and knowledge, explaining reasons behind choices, identifying, discussing and explaining beliefs. Finally, there is a research task where learners investigate medical reasons like food allergies and intolerances as well as medical conditions prohibiting the ingestion of certain food and drink. Throughout, learners combine their knowledge and research skills to build a mind map on food choice. Cue cards featuring both the illustrations and keywords from the work book are also included. These lend themselves for differentiation, e.g. let learners talk through the pictures and words prior to completing the written tasks. Lower ability learners could be given the picture sheets and asked to copy the matching words onto them to help them when completing the tasks in the workbook. The cue cards can also be used for further consolidation or revision activities. If you like this resource, please leave me a review and check out my other resources. Look out for my bundles which will save you time and money for even more learning opportunities. A differentiated quiz with 45 fact-packed questions for 50 points. This activity is based on the topics of arts, history and politics, geography, food and drink, travel and tourism in France. Three levels of differentiation with answer sheets! It is advised that learners should use an electronic device, e.g. computer, notebook or at least a mobile phone in order to research their answers. The two answer sheets differ only in that one is in English and the other in French. All questions are the same at all levels on all 3 question sheets, though one English version has the number of points to be gained written into each section and into answer boxes if more than 1 point to help learners. The medium version is all in English with no hints for amount of points. The harder version is all in French, no hints of points and comes with its own French answer sheet. Please kindly respect the time it took to put this quiz together and do not share this resource with colleagues anywhere unless you or they have purchased the school licence. European Day of Languages EDL Bunting Hello

15 pages of ‘hello’ in 45 different languages from around the world, including English :), all in Publisher and as a pdf file. The Publisher file enables you to add languages (using the current format), e.g. to include any other languages spoken by students or staff at your school. Each page features 3 bunting triangles to print and cut out. There is no particular order in which to arrange the bunting. I would suggest that like me you punch each triangle at the top with a 2-hole punch, pull a string/ribbon through the holes front to back and to the front again. A piece of sticky tape at the back will stop each triangle from moving along the string/ribbon. Print on card or on paper and laminate. A double printout will enable you to hang 2 triangles back to back, thus also hiding the string. Please kindly respect the time it took me to construct the enclosed sheets. Fairness deal: I will keep my price low. In return please be fair to me and do not pass this resource to colleagues unless you or your school have purchased the school licence for this resource too. Thank you. :) If you like these, please leave me a review and check back to see what else is new in my shop at any time. ©MosaiK

Fruit and Veg: Students are required to describe pictures before answering 2 questions in more detail. These 4 worksheets are ideal for cover, independent work or to fuel discussion between learning partners. Although the worksheets are numbered, this is purely for teacher/student reference as there is no particular order in which they need to be completed. How about laminating these worksheets and let groups of students work on them to create a poster with a copy of the picture in the middle and their answers written around the edge? Then ask each group to present their findings. This could result in a good class discussion… Now, are tomatoes actually a vegetable or a fruit? Why can or can’t bananas grow where you live?
