Lesson looking at Trans-national Companies, with an additional Independent Research task for students to complete as homework. Created for DP Geography (2019) Unit 4 ‘Power, Places and Networks’, but easily adaptable to other year groups and curriculums. Full lesson is included, with some handouts (printed seperately) used at the end of the presentation. Students had a digital copy of the lesson file to take notes as required. The second file is the Independent Research task which was shared with the students digitally to complete for homework.

The lesson discusses what persecution is, different forms of religious persecution and then students research different examples of persecution of multiple religions around the world. Workbook and data sheets for the Local (Wembley) and Distant (Port Talbot) Case Study as part of the Changing Places topic. Can be adapted to any specification and area case studies. Included is a booklet with 19 categories to guide student research on the two areas, history of the two areas, and four spreadsheets of census data. Students develop data interpretation, analysis and research skills in the completion of this study pack. This study pack then forms the backbone of the Local and Distant Case Studies.
