QR codes are great for inclusion in your daily 5 reading stations, reading rotations and centers, listening to reading, for students who finish early, who need further instruction, are visual or auditory learners, or just for fun. These read alouds create a great link between reading and unit of inquiry. You will need a QR code reader to use these products. Story stones are an interactive way to practice reading early sight words. This pack contains 32 sentence cards covering 49 of the Fry First 100 Words and more than 80 pictures to be used with all sentences. This activity can be used as an independent activity, reading follow up or group activity. Great for word work or daily 5 stations. To use this resource simply print the sentences and either cut out the pictures (you may wish to laminate first) or glue them onto stones (or bottle tops) for a more tactile experience. All pictures can be used with all sentences allowing over 2500 sentence combinations!
