Maths lesson on dividing with fractions. Excellent PowerPoint, which explains students how to divide two fractions step by step. The presentation includes a warm-up activity (quick recap multiplying with fractions). More able students are challenged to divide mixed fractions. The presentation leads perfectly into the differentiated worksheets, which come with answer sheets! I taught this lesson to my Year 6 class and they made great progress!

This great code breaking activity helps children to practise substitution in algebra. It is suitable for children in Year 5, Year 6 and Year 7. Children must use substitution to solve a range algebraic expressions which include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, square numbers, square roots, cubed numbers and brackets. It would also make a really great homework activity. My Year 6 class loved it!
