Algebra Ten Review Fortune Tellers
This purchase includes ten different fortune tellers (cootie catchers) each differentiated. The ten algebra topics included are;
Simplifying expressions
Evaluation/substitution
Expansion of term over a bracket
Solving 1&2 step equations
Mix of four above.
Solving Inequalities

Math Art combines the fun of colouring and the consolidation of mathematical skills
Ideal as a plenary activity to determine what learning has taken place, alternatively use to determine pupils prior knowledge to a topic and of course great for revision.
In this math art activity pupils need to calculate missing angles, including isosceles triangles, parallel lines and polygons. Pupils then shade all the squares with those answers in the colour stated. There are three different worksheets of three different levels of difficulty, each results in a different Easter image.
Worksheet 1: There are 14 questions on angles on a straight line, around a point and within a triangle.
Worksheet 2:There are 14 questions which quickly move from angles around a point, on straight line to triangles, including triangles within parallel lines.
Worksheet 3:There are 13 questions to answer on calculating missing angles; including angles in parallel lines, isosceles triangles, polygons and finally finding the number of sides given the exterior angles.
This resource comes complete with instructions, solutions and ideas to support and challenge.

In this Math Art activity there are three differentiated worksheets covering finding the median, mode & range from a list of numbers and from evaluating alegbraic expressions. The three worksheets are;
Worksheet 1: There are 14 questions on finding the mode, median and range from a list of numbers.
Worksheet 2: There are 14 questions in total, finding the median, mode, range and means from a list of numbers and from evaluating algebraic terms.
Worksheet 3: There are 14 questions on median, mode and range and include evaluating algebraic expressions in order to find these and one question on the mean.
Each worksheet comes in two versions, the first is split into two pages in which pupils would need to complete the questions first and then complete the colouring on the grid on the second page. The second version has questions and grid consolidated onto one page. Therefore giving the flexibilty of how you may use the resource.Also in this download you will receive two versions of the product, one is for A4 printers (UK) and the other letter size for US printers.

In this math art activity pupils need to identify the gradient (slope US) of a function, rearrangng where necessary from the implicit function to y=mx+c and hence identify the gradient. Pupils then shade all the squares with those answers in the colour stated. As a result pupils will have a picture of an Easter chick.
There are** three different worksheets** of increasing difficultly, they are;
Worksheet 1: There are 14 questions on finding the gradient from functions where Q1-14 the functions are already in the form y=mx+b (or mx+b=y) and one final question which requires rearranging to get the form y=mx+b
Worksheet 2: There are 14 questions, the first 5 pupils find the gradient of functions already in the form y=mx+b and then the remaining questions they must rearrange with the last few giving fractions.
Worksheet 3: There are 14 questions and pupils will need to rearrange them all.
There are two versions of each worksheet, either condensed to one page as shown in the cover photo, or questions and colour grid split into two pages to give you the flexibility of just doing the questions on the worksheet before any colouring. Also included are a A4 version (UK buyers) and a letter size version (US buyers).

Translation (Mystery & Quick Fire Starter)
Mysteries are a thinking skills activity, they promote collaboration and independence from the teacher. They are perfect to use at the end of a topic, requiring pupils to use the skills in a problem solving and often real life problem.
This download includes a starter activity and main translation mystery activity.
The starter is aimed at introducing translations through 10 quick fire questions on describing translations. Pupils can answer on mini whiteboards; use discussion to introduce and model that the movement left/right should be given first, followed by the move up/down.
The main activity “Translation mystery” is differentiated to two levels in which pupils use the clues to plot and translate shapes; level 1 uses words e.g. “left right” where as the second level uses vectors.
