Standard Index Form (Collect a Joke) This is a collect a joke activity which requires pupils to collect the letters to give the punch line to a bad maths joke! Pupils start where indicated, make a note of the letter in the middle of the row (cross it out to keep track) and then work out the answer to the question below. GCSE 9-1 Equation of Tangents to Circle (Question Grid Worksheets) This question grid has two levels, the first level each circle has a centre of (0, 0) and level 2 is more challenging with different circle centres and pupils need to find the Tangent to the circle at a given point. This is relevant for the new GCSE 9-1 UK specification. Pupils will choose which level to work out and they select a square and answer that question. It can be played as a competitive game such as ‘noughts and crosses’. Pupils answer on their sticky-notes or in their colour, claiming the square.
