Minerals and Rocks from Natural History Museum

(1)
This resource has been created from the exhibits shown at the Minerals Gallery at the Natural History Museum in London. Each item has been photographed in the case and then information compiled from open sources to enable students / teachers to explore rocks and minerals in greater detail. Each slide has a QR code to enable students from KS3-5 to do further research and there is an accompanying worksheet with some ideas. Please feel free to adapt for non commercial use in schools for educational purposes. However, all photographs are the property of www.animatedscience.co.uk with a compressed version available for this here. http://animatedscience.co.uk/gallery/ and original images available by request for commercial projects or educational publishers.
