Roadmap to show the year overview in Science Y8 following CIE Checkpoint. I use it as a poster so that students can follow the scheme of work for the school year in a simplistic way. The traffic lights (end of unit tests) show the unit number with a colour code depending on the science. I have included a printable version and an editable version so that it can be tailored to fit other textbooks. This power point shows some basic activities to be done with the app iCircuit. It is a great opportunity for KS3 science students as the can build easily parallel and series circuits and then some more complex ones with more components. The last slide offers a final task about Galvani and Volta’s work.
