This includes: a two page guide on how to structure a commentary (including key questions to promote individual analysis); an assessment task where examples of varying grades have been given and pupils have to allocate grades using the marking criteria and self assessment grid to ensure all of the basic frameworks of language have been covered. It is ideally given to pupils before writing their original piece to keep the commentary in mind throughout. An excellent tool to improve students grades with independent study.
