AQA GCSE (9-1) Physics Required Practical Workbook

(0)
Contains all of the AQA GCSE (9-1) Physics Required Practicals (sometimes called core practicals), listed in the order of the new AQA GCSE Physics Third Edition textbook (Breithaupt, 2016). I’ve included the MS Word document so you can change the order, if necessary, and a version where the practicals are in specification order. All of the practicals include instructions, diagrams, space for tables, graphs and questions that direct the pupil to develop their practical skills throughout the course. Scaffolding is provided for the students. This one booklet is all the students would need for their required practicals. For assessment and feedback, level descriptors for the grades are included and there is a form after each practical for the teacher to give comments about areas for development. Really handy for cutting down your workload, particularly if preparing for next year. Why not get a site licence and use this across your whole department?

Thermal equilibrium question generator

(0)
This spreadsheet generates questions where two substances are placed together and allowed to reach thermal equilibrium (assuming no heat loss), and students have to calculate what the equilibrium temperature is. Questions can be quite simple, such as the same substance and no state changes, or much more complicated, such as different substances and only some of one of the substances changing state. This spreadsheet generates full worked solutions too, to help students understand how to solve these types of problems. Teachers can use ‘debug mode’ to choose their own bespoke questions, if they wish, or allow the spreadsheet to generate random questions. All of my drills are fully Excel compatible spreadsheets. This one is a question generator, which can be used to generate an unlimited number of unique questions. Just press F9 (PC) or Cmd+= (Mac) to refresh the spreadsheet and generate a new question.

All A Level particle decays are included (all hadrons and leptons that are in A Level) All of my drills are fully Excel compatible spreadsheets. These are question generators, which can be used to generate an unlimited number of unique questions. Just press F9 (PC) or Cmd+= (Mac) to refresh the spreadsheet and generate a new question.
AQA GCSE (9-1) Physics complete presentations, one slide per lesson
PhysicsWithKeithPhysicsWithKeith

AQA GCSE (9-1) Physics complete presentations, one slide per lesson

(0)
In this presentation, each slide is a single lesson. I have found that pupils really benefited from having the information condensed onto a single slide and displayed throughout the lesson whilst they were doing question practice. The slides are densely packed with information, images and animations to help make the topics clear. The order presented here is the same as the OUP AQA Physics GCSE Third Edition textbook, by Jim Breithaupt. I’ve included a pdf in case different versions of PowerPoint scramble things, but the animations will not work for the pdf. The animations work fine on PowerPoint.
