Whole lesson aimed at Year 7 students on the differences between Evaporation and Boiling. I found that this is a large misconception in a lot of students and so added a lesson into my plan to challenge it. This lesson was used with a large range of abilities. The demo is watching a beaker of water boil on a Bunsen burner and watching a beaker of water evaporate on the surface.

Revision and challenge activity to consolidate the common content between new AQA 9-1 GCSE Chemistry and Physics for the Development of the Structure of the Atom. It was used as a homework and has been set as cover work for Year 10 and 11 higher tier classes.

I have used this structuring with low, middle and high ability groups and it works every time. For the starter print out each student a copy of the required practical method.
