These A4 differentiated word vocabulary mats are an essential tool for any child and would be perfect laminated and stored in boxes in the middle of the table. The mat focuses on writing a character description. The mat gives a wide range of vocabulary including words to describe how a characters look, what they wear and their personality. There are also words and phrases to describe where the character may live and their age and gender. Furthermore there are lists of prepositions, adverbs, adjectives and conjunctions which could be included in a description.
