This resource is useful for checking students knowledge and recall of Component 1, Learning aim A (BTEC Tech Award in Health and Social Care). The aim of the activity is to get from an orange tile on the first row to an orange tile on the last row, following a line across the board. There are 50 questions on this activity sheet covering the entirety of Learning aim A. I have found this useful as a starter, plenary, revision or cover work activity. This can be used as a printed document for students to complete individually and write the answers into their exercise books. Or you could use your projector to display the PDF document and complete as a whole class activity (either choosing individuals or having two teams battling).

This resource is a domino’s card sorting game for the Level 3 BTEC National (Diploma, Extended Certificate, Certificate) Health and Social Care May/June 2017 Unit 1: Human Lifespan Development past paper. The domino’s on the document are presented in the correct order so you will need to shuffle the pages before giving to students. In order to save your printing budget, I have created this (17 page) document in black and white, but I would recommend printing onto coloured paper (And maybe laminating?) to make the dominos aesthetically pleasing.
