An anarchic romp through history, with random acts of kindness thrown in, ‘Save the World!’ is a script suitable for students from 10 - 16, but slightly younger Higher Ability students could enjoy and access it. As an end of year performance, whole school piece of work with different classes working on each scene, or extended assembly, ‘Save the World!’ combines satire and physical comedy, with witty script and inspiring storyline, when 2 children are challenged by the Grim Reaper to travel through the mists of time and bring back examples of human kindness or the world will end at midnight … Students are introduced to history and politics in a humorous and anarchic way and will have the opportunity to develop comic timing, characterisation, stage presence, and a social conscience! What’s not to love?!

‘Smallville vs The Big Smoke’ is a hilarious, inspiring, entertaining and educational script for performing in (extended) assemblies, whole school performances or end of year shows for parents and carers, et al. It makes impactful use of satire and familiar political situations, that all young people will at once recognise and want to tackle! There are a wide range of speaking and non-speaking parts, enabling Higher Ability, less able and SEN students to all get involved! The themes are relatable, current and important, and the overall message of building a community and working together for a brighter, safer future has never been more necessary! Putting on a performance of this scale can galvanize a school community and bring out the best in all our students and staff. Departments can collaborate on reading, performance, rehearsal, set design, choreography, music and sound effects, etc. and utilise, develop and hone the skills and interests of children from 10 - 16, although Higher Ability students could access and enjoy performing the script and exploring and developing ideas even earlier!
