Don’t spend more time then you have to working at home! I have planned English and Maths Year 3 homework, for 6 weeks. English homework has exciting tasks for pupils to describe and use similes, whilst maths is a combination of volume, mass, litres, numbers and measurement. It won’t take too long for the children at home and it will reinforce learning.

An engaging worksheet which will last for a few lessons and stimulate engaging discussions about racism. There are short diaries of “children” who have faced racism and an activity to answer after each task. This can be done in groups, pairs or individually.
