Marking Sheet AQA GCSE English Literature /30 (Student Friendly)
A colour-coded mark scheme with visual prompts to help students access the AQA Literature mark scheme.
This can be used as a marking cover sheet to reduce the volume of writing involved in marking for teachers, as they can tick the relevant boxes for comments that have been adapted from the AQA mark scheme to be more student friendly.
There is also space to note down comments on strengths and targets.
Marking Sheet AQA GCSE English Language Paper 2 Section A (Student Friendly)
A colour-coded resource with visual prompts to help GCSE students access the AQA English Language mark scheme.
This can be used as a cover sheet to lighten the marking workload for teachers and also makes feedback clear and focused for students. Teachers can tick off clear comments as appropriate. These are carefully worded to link to the mark scheme in a more student friendly manner.
The PowerPoint Slide condenses feedback for a whole Section A /40, including space for comments, and the word document contains A4 page versions for each of Q2-4.
Key Stage 3 Reading and Writing marking sheets (Student Friendly)
These sheets are aimed at Years 7-9 but also keep the demands of the AQA GCSE English Literature and Language mark schemes in mind.
They are colour coded with visual prompts to help students understand strengths and improvements required in their answers. The reading sheet works well for feedback on an essay/extended answer whilst the writing is intended for creative pieces.
They have also kept in mind the need for reducing the marking workload for teachers, so whilst there is space for a brief comment, the majority of the sheet allows teachers to tick off relevant comments for student work.
