Further Pure 3 (AQA) Blockbuster Revision Quiz
Create this quiz using a template off another teacher. All the answers are in the notes section for each slide and the instruction for using the PowerPoint are on the 1st slide. There is some question just on integration but my class were struggling to know which technique to use and when. Some question come from the MEI exam papers but this is because my pupils had done most the of the past papers so needed something new.
Enjoy!

AQA alevel Maths Self Assessment afl
These are useful revision aids for A level maths. Current I have done Core 1, Core 2, Core 3, Core 4, Statistics 1 & 2, Mechanics 1, 2, 3 & 4 and Decision 1 & 2. Pupils can use this through out the course to track their progress or before an exam to track what topics they need to revise. This is taken from the AQA specification just put into a more useful layout.
Maths Higher Thinking Questions
These are generic higher thinking questions, based on the last 3 step of Bloom's taxonomy.
Each box has 3 questions, one question on Analysis, Synthesise and Evaluation.
Ways I have used this:
- Give all 3 questions after mock exams. Different sets of the 3 questions to different pupils.
- Cut out each question and during revision lesson when pupils are completing exam questions, use them as starters/plenaries/extension task.
Let me know if you use them in a different way.
Stuck on an Exam Question Help Sheet
I created the worksheet to help pupils gain some marks in an A Level paper when they don't even know where to start.
Some boxes can be left blank. They can be done in any order, though there are arrows to help.
I even use the sheet as I go through exam questions on the board so pupils can hear my thinking process to a question.
Let me know if you find it useful or can make some improvements, as I've only been using it a few months.
Past Paper Self-Analysis
I give this to pupils once they get back a marked exam paper or test. It is based on metacognition and trying to get pupils to think why certain topics are going better then other. They can use this to identify their weakness and set targets accordingly.
AQA A Level Maths Core 1 - Worked Solutions to Past Exam Papers
My pupils asked for worked solutions to some exam papers to help them see where they went wrong. Some of these papers have more details then other depending on the pupil who asked for them. Thought I would share.
