Teaching quadrants and ecological sampling? Too wet? no school field? PE say no to going out? left ecology to the winter? then fear not with this interactive notebook resource to fit in with the required practical ecological sampling and GCSE, A-level courses.
Students can create their very own field to stick in the book with added tape measure and quadrat that moves horizontally and vertically in all directions. It can also act as a transect line
3 templates are included to fully differentiate the resource (one blank for students to draw their own flowers, one with lots of flowers and one with few)

a lesson plan teacher help sheet
GCSE questions for foundation learners and answers
GCSE questions to stretch and challenge higher tier learners and answers
This is your chance to allow your students to create an interactive foldable Motte and Bailey Castle that can be put in exercise books. Much better than little sketch and more accessible than creating a large scale model - overall great for engaging your learners whether they are primary or secondary.
The resource comes with the template (that can be coloured and cut out)
Instructions
Photos of a model design so your students can see what it should look like.
A student worksheet with various questions on it designed to test knowledge of the Motte and Bailey castle and even space for teacher feedback. (the sheet is of course totally optional)

A foldable designed to engage learners studies nutrient groups. The end result is the student having a fold out resource either in their books or as an external interactive version.
There is space left on the sections so you as the teacher have autonomy to instruct your learners to fill in as you wish - I always make sure that when I teach it my learners have included the nutrient group name, functions, examples of foods which contain the nutrients .
Also included are 2 worksheets. a factfile research task which could also be used as a homework and a visual hexagon activity in which students are required to make links between the pictures and to explain why each one is important.

Match sure your KS3 Science students 'master' all the key ideas they need before they start on their GCSE journey. It will support conversations with students to what they have to do to improve/next steps as well as your report writing and parents evenings.
This PLC is already formatted with the statements/Can do/key idea statements all you have to do is add numbers:
1) can not do yet (red)
2) nearly there (orange)
3) mastered (green)
4) Away/absent for the lessons covering the key idea so need to catch up (grey)
This resources covers all Biology, Chemistry and Physics topics, as well as working scientifically and other key skills (EG: graph drawing, calculations and maths skills, homework quality).
You can also edit/add sections to suit your own teaching needs.
Students can colour and create their very own interactive flipbook that shows how stumps are formed from stacks, caves, arches and cracks.
Each flip page has room to describe what is occurring do students can be assessed.
There is also a blank storyboard attached and one for students to explain the formation of Old Harry
Create a model of a flower which can be labelled. A fantastic interactive resource to support the teaching and learning of plant biology.
Resource comes with the templates to cut out and colour, the instructions to make the flower, a student worksheet and the answers. Bonus is an extension task on the importance of bees.

Revision for all the topics in AQA P1 using the simpsons as a guide. Print off sheets 1 to 16 and stick around the room. Print back to back the student sheets (on the ppt) and they can fill. use the spec to review the answers and fill in knowledge gaps.
It also has an extension activity.
A cut and stick 'Earth' that when put together adds a bit of class to a boring drawing in the exercise book. It is quick and easy to put together and can be printed on A5 (so 2 pages to one piece of A4). When it is complete the Earth folds over as do the layers in the these amazing interactive notebook foldable
This resource contains the Earth model to cut out, extra questions, instructions to how to complete the model and a brief research lesson plan.

AQA Synergy combined science GCSE ,(8465) required practical and skills PLC:
The Synergy content broken down into 'can do' statements. Teachers can RAG rate student progress to highlight strengths and weaknesses on this already formatted spreadsheet. All you have to do is put a number in and it will change colour automatically, saving you time and effort.
Included is 3x required practical booklet for the biology, physics and chemistry required practical and a general scientific skills PLC tracker.
PLC trackers are included for the synergy required practicals, building blocks, transport over large distances, interactions with the environment, explaining change, building blocks for understanding, interactions, movement, guiding spaceship Earth and key skill areas, Each section has coloured coded outcomes to differentiate biology, chemistry and physics.
This resource should help you track student progress until they master each element of the Biology trilogy specification. The tracker will support written reports, inform students of the next steps and could even be used at parents evenings to inform parents of progress.
This foldable allows students to see first hand how ox bow lakes are formed and makes them use key terminology to explain the process. It is much better than drawing the stages in a book purely because it moves and the interactive element it has. Students colour and label the key features and create a flip book foldable. It also includes a cross section of a meander diagram
This is a great teacher timesaver as it is ready to print and the students will really engage with making their own personal ox bow lake
