Janet taught as Head of Music for 5 years before retraining as an opera singer at GSMD. She set up Talking Voice to target teachers and their voice use in the classroom particularly in regards to the health and longevity of the teaching voice. She now works with several providers, offering fun and informative training sessions to heighten awareness of vocal distress and solutions for vocal ease and dynamic voice use. Janet spends her time either performing, teaching singing or working with trainee teachers via Talking Voice and is a popular choice for CPD
