Just add the names of your student’s and print off onto sticky labels or plain paper. I normally print about 20 of these at the beginning of the year and whenever the children need a new book, they just take a new label and stick it on themselves. Makes life just that little bit easier (anything to save time). Please check out my shop (now with over 2,000 resources available).

Ideal for laminating and allocating to students at play times (when they need to use the toilet or get a drink). When you receive the card back, you know the child is back on the playground! Good for tracking where students are at all times. 4 sets attached. PDF and Word formats available.

This is a very simple literacy planning format, particularly useful if you DON’T want to spend hours planning each week. This Year 2 planning format is based on a 3-week cycle during which the children will cover the following areas: Spelling focus/pattern Grammar focus Punctuation focus Writing focus (writing to instruct/entertain/persuade/report/explain) Topic-related literacy lessons Comprehension task BIG WRITE (planning and writing stage) Handwriting task Just fill in the gaps (by hand) each week and make your planning style much more flexible and less time consuming! Why not ask your class to participate in a sponsored Hula Hoop challenge (or something similar) to raise money for some new resources? E.g. some new tricycles, extra reading books, new playground equipment etc? You could do this by using this simple sponsorship form … just add your name, challenge, date and year group and away you go! Good luck raising money!

End of Year - Rag Rating Sheet

End of Year - Rag Rating Sheet A very useful document to complete at the end of the year (or at the end of each term). The RAG rating system highlights students who (are): CAUSE FOR CONCERN - RED REQUIRE MONITORING - AMBER HAVE NO CONCERNS AT PRESENT - GREEN It’s a document that can be used by the class teacher and/or leadership team to monitor students closely. It’s also a CLEAR and EFFECTIVE way to highlight children who REQUIRE immediate attention/support and those that don’t. An excellent tracking and assessment tool. Fully editable!
