Use these Winter themed early morning work printables for your class. The printables include some which are purely winter based, some which include a Christmas theme and some which include a nativity theme. They can be selected as appropriate for your class to use.

This resource includes 17 slides which can either be printed out for children or projected onto a whiteboard to help explain fractions starting with halves, thirds and quarters and moving on to other fractions such as fifths and eights. The slides help to explain what a numerator and denominator are and how to work out fractions of numbers including fractions that do not have 1 as the numerator. These are straight forward counting activities for young children or older children who are finding counting difficult to understand. This resource includes a printable for each letter of the alphabet. The printable relates to the sound of that letter. Children need to trace the letters, practice handwriting the lower and upper case letters and then cut and stick three of the four pictures into the boxes to show the pictures that begin with that sound. You could use these as an alphabet or literacy activity in lesson time, as morning work or send home as homework.

Tell the time puzzle pieces! Are you teaching your class how to tell the time? Do they struggle with analogue and digital times? Well this is the resource for you! Use the puzzle outlines giving the time to give your children. Ask them to find the analogue and digital clock to match the written time. There are puzzle outlines and pieces for every five minutes.
