New OCR GCSE 9-1 style assessment for Of Mice and Men - Practice English Literature question.

Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck has been used for decade as a staple of the GCSE in English Literature. However, it is no longer on the specification, due to the DfE requirement for pupils to study texts by British authors. However, this does not mean that it can't be studied by pupils lower down the school, and indeed it would be a shame to waste the plethora of resources that may teachers have created over the years. Teachers all over the country are adapting their KS3 schemes of work to help pupils to prepare for the new GCSE criteria. This short resource is a sample exam question in the style of the new OCR GCSE in English Literature. The resource includes: An exam-style question Sample answers An APP grid based on the OCR GCSE criteria for the prose section of the exam.
