This short lesson is suitable for Elementary (A2) level ESL/ EAL/ EFL students who are having trouble distinguishing between adjectives ending in -ed and those ending in -ing. It is also suitable for primary school children who need some extra grammar / spag practice. The resource includes: Differentiated lesson plan with video links (videos are children-friendly extracts from FRIENDS TV show) Colour and Black&white lesson with grammar presentation, grammar in context text and comprehension questions, vocabulary and grammar fill-in-the-blanks activity and speaking task.

This resource is the first of a series called * Basic English for children*. This lesson teaches children to introduce themselves and practise weather vocabulary. It is most suitable for early ESL/EAL/EFL learners, especially children aged 4-7. It includes: A powerpoint presentation with a whole lesson including interactive activites, links to videos and accompanying tasks, and vocabulary & role-play practice (with custom and standard fonts, as well as in color and b/w pdf) A worksheet to accompany the presentation with writing, matching and drawing tasks (B/w editable and in pdf form) A lesson plan The presentation is locked and does not allow editing to avoid users interfering with the animations. However, it is fully interactive and can be used easily without any changes or extra preparation. The worksheet can be edited. To use this resource in class, you MUST have an internet connection to play the videos. The files are large as they contain audiovisual material, so please bear that in mind as well.
