T.A.L.K and L.E.A.R.N. Peer and Self Assessment Posters (Portrait Format)

(1)
Originally designed for Visual Arts classes, the T.A.L.K. and L.E.A.R.N. process can be successfully adapted across the curriculum. Students are encouraged to use the lesson Learning Intentions and Success Criteria, to take ownership of their learning, to give meaningful feedback and feed forward and to treat each other with respect and kindness, fostering positive, healthy relationships. To encourage development of effective peer and self assessment skills, teachers should model the ‘TALK’ and ‘LEARN” approaches frequently with students. Teachers and students should also “mix it up” - students can TALK to themselves or LEARN with a peer.
