Rental Housing Theme Unit The theme of the unit is rental housing - this covers all aspects of renting a property, from what is required prior to renting a property, legalities, financial responsibilities, tenants’ rights and responsibilities, the different forms an applicant/tenant needs to know about, organisations that support tenants/people looking for housing, and searching for and applying for a rental property. The unit them moves into the current housing crisis in Victoria (and Australia) as well as exploring homelessness.
