About
Yeasmin Mortuza has been in secondary education for over 25 years, including roles as middle leader, senior leader, and educational advisor for several London local authorities and DfE-funded school improvement projects. Currently she is an independent educational consultant, specialising in inclusion, secondary science, effective pedagogy, formative assessment, using data effectively, behaviour for learning, and leadership development. Yeasmin was recently an Inclusion Consultant supporting the Inclusion in Science programme for The Association for Science Education (ASE). Yeasmin has worked extensively with The National STEM Centre (York), and the Royal Academy of Engineering, as well as several other organisations promoting the sciences in education. She is currently, a teacher developer for the Royal Society of Chemistry, a Leadership Mentor for teachers who are studying for the NPQ qualifications with Best Practice Network, as well as a chair of governors for a primary school.
