Abehan's Physics Resources

Average Rating3.55
(based on 54 reviews)

With 10 years teaching experience in state and independent secondary schools, these are my day to day lessons for KS3 to KS5. Uploading takes a long time, so if you want a particular lesson or topic across KS3 to KS5, please contact me and I will add it as soon as possible. The lessons are simple, but very effective so that they can be used by others. They typically involve a Powerpoint, simple questions that progress to more challenging exam style questions.

AQA Physics A level - C3 - Waves and optics workbooks with teacher written mark schemes

Lots and lots of practice questions for this topic. Resources are divided into roughly one hour practice papers. The great part is that the mark scheme is written by a teacher to show pupils how to answer questions, rather than the exam mark scheme written for examiners. This allows pupils to work independently, self assessing and improving their work whilst being able to follow best practice for how to answer questions.

GCSE Physics - Revision notes - Chapter 5 Forces and motion

Written for the current 1-9 AQA syllabus (although Edexcel and OCR are very similar) these notes cover all the content needed for this chapter of the GCSE Physics course. This includes equations, definitions and required practical work. The notes work perfectly as part of revision and topic summary work. They ensure that all content from the syllabus that must be learnt is clearly available to pupils in a summarised, easy to follow and digest format. The three files are for separate science physics higher, trilogy physics higher and trilogy physics foundation versions of the notes.

Lots and lots of practice questions for all A level physics topics. Resources are divided into roughly one hour practice papers. Many sets of assignments for each topic. All the questions you’ll need to set over the course of an A level. The great part is that the mark scheme is written by a teacher to show pupils how to answer questions, rather than the exam mark scheme written for examiners. This allows pupils to work independently, self-assessing and improving their work whilst being able to follow best practice for how to answer questions.

A Level Physics - complete practical exam style practise - Paper 3 AQA

Nationally pupils have been struggling with the new practical questions on the AQA syllabus. One issue has been how to get the necessary practise. These questions have been selected to give pupils experience of how to approach and answer the questions to improve their confidence and familiarity. They specifically cover AS content. All activities include a hand written mark scheme that shows pupils how to approach and answer questions. It is not a mark scheme designed to help examiners, but to help pupils.

This includes the specification being broken down into assessed / not assessed / not the focus. Revision pack questions for each chapter, based on which parts of the course will be on the summer exam.
