What is an Economy? SOW KS3 - PowerPoints, Worksheets and Assessment
What is an Economy? There are 9 lessons in total, each comes with adaptable worksheets and PowerPoints. There is also two versions of the end of topic assessment - a lower ability assessment, and higher ability assessment depending on set.

Urban Issues and Challenges - AQA Geography
Looking for a scheme of work which covers everything in this topic? Look no further - this has been created by myself as I was tired of using out of date / inaccurate resources.
This is a FULL scheme of work for the topic Urban Issues and Challenges - it is based on the AQA GCSE specification. It has been created from scratch and includes a total of 15 lessons, a FREE AQA knowledge organiser which has been adapted to include the relevant case studies (Lagos and Liverpool), and a formative assessment. Each lesson has a challenge question as its title, tasks throughout, retrieval practice at the start of each lesson, a starter, main and plenary. There is a lot of exam practice, with AQA exam styled questions in most of the lessons.
All the lessons come with worksheets and PowerPoint - the lessons are fully adaptable to your requirement - and will approximately last 1 hour. The lessons were originally created on Google Slides / Google Docs, and have since been converted to Microsoft Powerpoint / Word for you when you download them.
The CGP Geography revision guide (2020) has been used alongside the creation of these lessons.
A breakdown of each lesson are as follows:
Lesson 1 - To explain what urbanisation is.
Lesson 2 - To analyse the factors as to why people want to live in urban areas.
Lesson 3 - To describe where Lagos is, and to understand why it is an important city.
Lesson 4 - To outline the opportunities and challenges which Lagos faces.
Lesson 5 - To analyse the environmental issues in Lagos.
Lesson 6 - To explore the ways in which Lagos has managed urban growth.
Lesson 7 - To examine how urban areas have changed in the UK.
Lesson 8 - To justify the importance of Liverpool, and describe the location.
Lesson 9 - To examine how urban change has brought opportunities to Liverpool.
Lesson 10 - To examine how urban change has brought social and economic challenges to Liverpool.
Lesson 11 - To examine how urban change has created environmental challenges in Liverpool.
Lesson 12 - To explain what urban sprawl is, and the impacts it has.
Lesson 13 - To analyse a regeneration project - Anfield, Liverpool.
Lesson 14 - To explore ways in which urban living can be made more sustainable (Curitiba, Brazil).
Lesson 15 - To outline ways in which traffic can be managed in urban areas (Curitiba, Brazil).
Also included: Knowledge Organiser and a formative assessment.

Africa SOW for KS3 - including PowerPoints, Worksheets, KO and assessment!
There are a total of 8 lessons - each lesson comes equipped with a PowerPoint and adaptable/printable worksheets. There is also a Africa knowledge organsier and end op topic test (the end of topic test is also adaptable to suit your pupils needs). The lessons are based on the KS3 Hodder in Education Textbook.

Sustainable Citizen Knowledge Organiser
I have created a knowledge organiser for the topic ‘Sustainable Citizen’. The Knowledge Organiser is based on the following lessons: What is sustainability? / Greenhouse Effect / Antarctica / Plastic Pollution / Food / Fashion / Energy / Water and the Olympics.
It can be adapted to your requirement, as there is a PowerPoint and PDF version when you download the resource. The knowledge organiser is two pages. The knowledge organiser is mainly for use by KS3, as this is a topic I am currently teaching to Year 7, however can be used for other KS3 year groups.
