It focuses mainly on four key areas: History of Israel Palestine (with timeline activity) Geography of Israel Palestine (with research activity into 3 main landmarks) Politics of Israel Palestine (with interactive map and discussion point of which countries support which side) The impact of media and more recently social media in fuelling the Israel Palestine conflict Homework set after the session which is not on the slides was to create their own Instagram infographic which is actually informative as opposed to the bias material demonstrated on social media (as they learnt throughout the lesson)

This bundle includes my Methods in Context guide which involves a deep step-by-step breakdown of all of the stages in preparing students for answering a methods in context question. Accompanying it is a work booklet for students to follow these stages using a question of their choice, as well as a PowerPoint which guides them through this process using the example in the guide to help. These resources have been designed for the AQA A level Sociology specification, with particular attention focused on the Methods in Context element of the course.

A booklet created to display the different types of questions in all AS and A level papers for AQA Sociology. Includes a step-by-step guide that I have used for numerous years with those of a lower-level ability who require a certain structure to follow when answering exam questions. The aim was to particularly try and ensure that they incorporate analysis into their longer answers. Includes a step-by-step guide for: 10 mark “outline and explain two” questions 10 mark “analyse two” (with item) questions 20 mark “evaluate” (with item) questions: there is a clear explanations as to the different types of 20-mark questions that students could get All step-by-step guides for each question type includes at least one model answer following the structure shown in the guide.

This guide is designed for the AQA A level Sociology specification. Within it contains a detailed step-by-step guide on how to answer Methods in Context exam questions. The guide was created in an attempt to help my students link research methods to contexts in education. It includes a model question that is referred to throughout to show each step of the methods in context question in practice.
