A full lessons PowerPoint on Vacuum Forming - Pupils create a Chocolate bar design. The Powerpoint talks about the steps involved in vacuum forming.
This can be taken further with practical lessons, where pupils create their moulds from a range of materials, I’ve previously used clay, acrylic, 3D printers, lego or wood. I have purchased a roll of food safe vacuum form plastic for £60, which has lasted me for 200 pupils so far. The moulds can also be reused.
A Full lesson of a PowerPoint resource, explaining the importance of packaging in relation to design and customer interest, sustainability issues, revolutionary ideas and an exam style question at the end.
Posters for visual aid for GCSE Product design/resistant materials.
The posters include:
Aldo Rossi
Philippe Starck
William Morris
Charles Rennie Mackintosh
Bethan Gray
Alessi

A collection of 4 wood joint manuals, Corner Bridle, Corner Halving and Mortise & Tenon.
I have also added a workshop safety poster as extra.
These manuals have taken me hours and hours to make, so if you do find them usefule, please feel free to leave me a 5 star review, or feedback :)
I have created a corner bridle joint instruction manual. I’ve kept the manual as simplistic as possible, for pupils to easily follow the guide when completing their practical.
I use this as a framework guide, after having already given a visual demonstration to the pupils.
This resource is part of four wood joint manuals, which can be purchased as a bundle, at a discounted rate.
If you have found my resources useful, id greatly appreciate a 5 star review.

A menu of 9 tasks pupils can choose from, in various degrees of difficulty.
This is ideal for a one off lesson, or to use as cover work, to set when pupils are working from home or setting as general homework.
Three levels of tasks aimed at Ks3 Y7/Y8. This works great as a home learning resource.
The backgrounds of text have been kept plain, so the document can be easily edited to suit different tasks. For example, drag and drop the PDF pages in to PowerPoint to easily edit over the written content.
A short booklet explaining the production process when taking a product concept to manufacture.
This includes 12 steps, a flowchart explanation and a series of exam style questions at the end of the PowerPoint.
Interactive PDF with quick links to skip between pages, covering renewable and non-renewable energy sources, including advantages and disadvantages.
I have included the PowerPoint version also.
I have also attached a forms quiz with 30 marks worth of questions, that can be duplicated and set as an assignment on Teams. You can then attach a link to the PDF once it is saved in a pupil work area.
This is mainly aimed at KS3 pupils, however could easily be used for KS4 as revision.
