This powerpoint covers the whole of the biological section for the Edexcel Alevel Psychology course. The powerpoint consists of 119 slides of revision notes made by an A* achieving student and covers the following topics: The Biological Approach Key Terms Structure and function of parts of the brain and neurons Neurotransmitters/ application to drugs The structure of the brain, different brain areas and brain functioning as an explanation of aggression as a human behaviour Raine et al (GRADES) Individual differences The role of evolution and natural selection to explain human behaviour, including aggression Brendgen et al Developmental psychology Freud’s psychodynamic explanation Individual difference in relation to Freud Biological KEY QUESTION (What are the implications for society if aggression is found to be caused by nature not nurture) Powerpoint can be used for revision or teaching. I used it for revision by printing the powerpoint off and sticking it on flashcards - the Silvine 8x5 ones of Amazon are great because they are the same size as the powerpoint if you print two per page :)
