This is an extremely thorough step by step guide (with audio commentary) Power Point presentation to tackling Part 1 of the Unseen Poetry section in Paper 2 of AQA’s GCSE English Literature exam.
This is great for remote/sole learning experiences due to accompanying audio which guides learners throughout the slides.
The detailed resource helps learners understand how to tackle Part 1 of Section B: Unseen Poetry. It aims to help them understand what is meant by a ‘conceptualised response’ as well as how to analyse language and structural techniques to a standard that reaches the top bands of the mark scheme. A top level sample response is also provided within this resource.
The resource is extremely detailed and would span at least a couple of 1 hour lessons. Alternatively, it could be used as a revision guide for students when working alone. I hope you find it useful.
