Begins with students analysing information sheets to gain an understanding of China in the early 1900s and think about what factors have influenced change. Next students use a Khan Academy video to build a timeline overview of the course. Students then research two key individuals in Sun Yat-sen and Yuan Shikai. There is an opportunity for class discussion before a final tasks in which students extend their knowledge by evaluating the role of China in WWI and the impact of this. Enjoy!
