Queen Elizabeth Portrait interactive classroom art gallery lesson

Full and very interactive lesson. Interactive main task that is guided through a teacher led presentation with a very topical starter that links to modern day politics and is brought together ready for an extended writing task/assessment question A selection of Queen Elizabeth's portraits printed on A3 and stuck around the room. Students were given the table outside the room and instructed that the classroom was now an art gallery. Even played some relaxing music :). Students moved around the room filling in their tables whilst looks at the images. A PowerPoint then brings everything together so that the teacher can guide source analysis and there is a assessment question with mark scheme that incorporates the knowledge and source analysis.
