First there are some pictures and words to teach different types of text, then there is a test with just pictures. (Students can write the type of text next to the picture). Finally there are some writing activities. This PPT has 7 slides that will guide you and your learners. Learners will be given a topic (the PowerPoint contains the list, you will need to print it, cut it and ask your students to pick one) and then they will need to create a presentation about that topic + a quiz. Three examples have been included. It is suitable for Functional Skills Maths lessons (Entry 1, Entry 2, Entry 3 and if you adapt it Level 1)
