RAG Sheets - Trigonometry - SOHCAHTOA Sides

The RAG sheets are designed to be marked by students as red, amber or green. The worksheets in the ‘RAG Sheets’ series generally contain 10 questions, with animated answers for amber and green. The aim is to encourage students to show workings, and to stop the annoying trait of students marking answers as completely incorrect, where most of the question has been answered correctly. The sheets have been designed to look as close to examination questions as possible. The have also generally been designed to start with the easiest questions and get gradually harder. They are a new design I am trying out and sheets will be added to as I make them throughout the year. Bundles will follow once I have built up enough sheets. Enjoy!

30 Essential Marks - Pack 1 - Revision Sheets for Higher Tier GCSE Mathematics

(0)
Overview Revision resource for the Higher Tier GCSE. The full resource contains 10 separate sheets that include almost all content on the curriculum. (Topics not included are noted within the contents page) Each sheet has 30 marks, and should take students approximately 30 minutes to complete. All sheets come with worked solutions, and implicitly show students where marks are awarded. Blue ticks show marks for workings, while green are for final the answer only. The first 7 sheets have content suitable for all students on higher tier, but are more suited for students targeting grades 4 to 6. The last 3 sheets contain more difficult topics and are suitable for students aiming for grades 6 to 9. In total there are 3 ‘Packs’ available. The packs repeat the topic, but the question has been changed. Packs 1 and 2 are more focused on the skill, where Pack 3 develops the problem solving aspect of the curriculum. Guidance on Use Decide on sheets that are appropriate for your group. Ensure you have enough lessons before the exams to use them to have their full impact. I have found that sheets 1 to 7 are appropriate for mid ability groups targeting 4 to 6. Lesson One Give Students Sheet 1, Pack 1 to complete in exam conditions. Give approximately 25 minutes (certain sheets need longer to complete). Go through worked solutions, encouraging students to take down corrections. This should take approximately 10 minutes. Take in student scores to be kept on spread sheet. Lesson Two Repeat process, using Pack 2, Sheet 1. Students will generally show an increased score on the 2nd attempt. Lesson Three and beyond Do not use ‘Pack 3’ (the problem solving sheets) just yet. Continue the process but using the next sheet in pack 1, then the repeated sheet in pack 2 the following day. This process takes me 14 lessons with my mid ability group (7 sheets). Once you have finished the cycle, go back to the first sheet of Pack 3, and continue through these until all sheets have been exhausted. I have found them really useful over the past 2 years and students do like seeing the progress on a day to day basis. Overall I have found it takes the stress out of planning revision. Following this method ensures that students have seen almost all key topics 3 times before the final exams. It also gives me time in the last 20 minutes of the lesson to tackle unrelated problem solving questions or topics the class still struggle with as a whole! Enjoy!

Securing a Grade 4 - Pack 1 - Free Sample - Revision Worksheets

I created these worksheets a few years back to help my C/D borderline students revise key topics. The resource contains 10 different worksheets. This first pack is free. The other 7 repeat the same topics with the questions changed. Unfortunately they do not include the answers - hence the low price for the remaining packs.
