This lesson was graded 'outstanding' in a joint SLT observation. It was aimed at a mixed ability year 9 PSHCE class on the topic of human rights. This lesson looks at 'what an absolute right' is. Two worksheets are included: one for MA/HA and one for LA.

This is an interview lesson I prepared on an environmental issue for my first teaching post. I decided to focus on the topical issue of fracking. This provides an introduction to the concept, as well as a balanced look at the pros/cons of its development.

This is a double lesson that I have created on the impact of sleep on health. All of the resources you need for the lesson are included with the Powerpoint presentation. There is exam questions, a WAGOLL, assessment opportunities etc. There is so much in this lesson, you could spread it out over 3 lessons or use tasks as home work pieces. There is a focus on deep reading / comprehension in this task and 2 source materials are included which will be easy to print off for students to read in small groups.
