Humanities - Online Resources

(1)
This is a list of online teaching resources and ideas that I have used and that worked well in an online classroom, for History, Geography and RE. (I previously taught English and Humanities at KS3 and KS4 for 3 years at an online Alternative Provision which was commissioned by Local Authorities for students with a wide range of needs.) Thought this would be useful in the current climate!

I taught KS3 and KS4 English online for an Alternative Provision that was commissioned by Local Authorities. This is a list of online teaching resources that I found worked well in an online classroom setting for tasks and activities. For each resource there is a note to explain how I used it. Thought this might be useful in the current climate!

Lesson Planning Template - PowerPoint

A PowerPoint template that I use as a ‘base’ for planning all of my lessons. This template has also been used in an online classroom and is easily adapted to include interactive tasks and activities. The widescreen format is also compatible with being uploaded to online classroom platforms. This template includes all of the various aspects that ‘observers’ may be looking to see highlighted in a lesson. Learning Objectives Differentiated Outcomes Literacy/Numeracy Focus Key Terminology SMSC/British Values Lesson Menu Link to prior learning Learning Review (Differentiated) AfL (Including self assessment) I have included notes on each slide that explains how I use the slides. Any questions please ask! I hope this is as useful to you as it has been to me over the years!
