Storage Devices - Treasure Hunt

Useful resource for teaching entry level 3/ level 1 students the key points about storage devices in a fun and engaging way. This activity worked really well with a group of students who were finding the topic difficult and were beginning to disengage. Embeds maths and English automatically as students have to solve the mathematical problem and read and comprehend text and summarise key points. Preparation for activity involves: Giving each student the worksheet Storage Devices; Explaining the activity to all the group; Providing access to calculators if needed; Displaying the answers (this is what the students will see) around the classroom. When the student lifts the answer sheet the key points will be behind. Students then write the information in the correct row and column on the answer sheet. Displaying a timer if required.
