This resource is aimed at KS1 (ages 5 -7) and KS2 (ages 7 -11) pupils. It includes two pdf worksheets that can be downloaded and photocopied onto 300gsm card. Pupils then colour them in, cut out the shapes and slots, and assemble the standing soldier with detachable shield. The pieces can be taken apart and put in a book bag.
Activity should take approx 40 minutes.
This resource is aimed at KS1 (ages 5 -7) and KS2 (ages 7 -11) pupils. It includes the choice of two designs, one with a simple cutting line, the other with a more challenging shape. The worksheets should be photocopied onto white 300gsm card. Pupils then colour them in, cut out the shapes and slots and construct the sea monster into a freestanding model. This can be dismantled and taken home in a book bag.

Pupils then colour in the snow globe, cut out the pieces and slot them together to make a free standing artwork. This can then be dismantled to take home in a book bag. The worksheet also has a blank snow globe, to allow children to create their own design.

All you need are scissors, sticky tape, paper straws and colouring materials (pencils, crayons or felt pens). Pupils colour in the masks, cut them out and attach a straw onto the back. Help may be needed cutting out the eyeholes, depending on the age and ability of the child. The mask will easily fit inside a book bag to be taken home. Perfect for a class assembly or just for fun!

Pupils can then colour the flower and tabs in, cut the pieces out, carefully cut the slots and assemble the flower artwork. If there’s time, children can add colour to the other side of the tabs.
