For something a little fresh and different. Can your quizzers identify the character from the ‘Funko Pop’ collectible? 12 pictures, all formatted beautifully in a high quality A4 pdf file, with the answers included, (the photo here is only a low quality preview) ready to print out and hand to your quizzers or use as part of an online quiz. All our picture rounds have been tried and tested in quizzes. We recommend this is used as a handout round at the beginning of your quiz and can be done whilst customers are waiting for the quiz to start or can be used as an ice-breaker in the classroom or for a little fun. Perfect for hosting a quiz based around the theme of ‘Marvel’ As there are video clips and multimedia in this pack it is idea for online use, although can obviously be used for home use or as an entertaining break for the children. This is a professionally written quiz, added to the site 10th July, 2020 beautifully formatted and with full answers and video clips to use as part of the quiz too! Everything you need to host the COMPLETE Marvel quiz (comics and movie questions included.) There are 52 questions in total The quiz includes: Mixed picture Round based around Marvel movies Marvel questions based around the movies and comics, one example of a medium difficulty question is ‘Black Widow is originally from which country: Russia, Czechoslovakia or Spain?’ Answer: Russia Video clip round, a clip is shown, the participant has to guess from the Stan Lee clip which movie it is and for a bonus point what year it was released (multiple choice.) ‘Wipeout Round’ (adding a gambling element where participants score 2 points for their answers, but get one wrong and they lose all their points!) Music Round: Which Marvel movie is the soundtrack music from? This is a very high quality resource and has taken many hours to formulate. Online 'pub' quiz: Big Fat Quiz of the Year 2020 in Review - General Knowledge - Lockdown

This is a professionally written pub style quiz, beautifully formatted and with full answers. There are two versions of the quiz provided, one with the answers underneath the questions and one with just the questions in case the quizmaster wants to take part in the quiz themselves. There are a mammoth 70 questions in total with a blank numbered template provided for quizzers to write their answers on, if you would like to use it. The quiz includes: Questions 1-12: A mixed picture round with 12 questions. Questions 1-4: Name the celebrity that has sadly passed away in 2020. Questions 5-8: Name the shop that went into administration in 2020 from the partial logo. Questions 9-12: What are the missing words from the UK Government slogans? *Questions 13-30:General knowledge questions and answers, starting easy and getting progressively more difficult, the majority being around the theme of ‘2020 a year in review. For example, one question included is "first announced on March 20th, the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme provided grants to employers to pay up to what percentage of peoples’ wages?" (Answer: 80%) Questions 31-35: An exclusively edited video with 3 catchphrases to identify and two ‘fun’ questions based around 2020 happenings. Questions 36-40: Music round video included with the lyrics displayed on screen and an audio clue of the song. (Both videos in mp4 or mov format.) Questions 41-45: Identify the colour multiple choice general knowledge questions Questions 46-55: Connections round - 9 general knowledge questions, with the tenth being to identify the common 2020 based connection. Questions 56-60: What month of the year did the given events eg. "In which month of 2020 did Captain Tom Moore walk a total of one hundred laps of his garden to raise money for the NHS?: (Answer: April.) Questions 61-65: 5 slightly more difficult questions Questions 66-70:The final 5 questions are the ‘Wipeout Round.’ Each question is worth 2 points, however if one question is answered incorrectly your team ‘wipes-out’ and scores NO points for the round, questions can however be missed out by leaving them blank This really is a quality resource and has taken many hours to formulate. More questions within this quiz are multiple choice for this reason, but to add a further level of difficulty the multiple choice element can merely be excluded whilst questioning. Perfect for a standard, or online quiz for adults. Questions 13 - 20: Easier questions designed to give your teams some confidence and even raise some laughs. Questions 21 - 30: Medium difficulty questions Questions 31-35: Name the film from the named ‘movie twist.’ Questions 36 - 40: Harder questions which teams will find much more challenging. A range of worksheets I designed for children to find out about the best selling toys in the last 50 years and how they have changed over time. I have also included the Keynote I used in quicktime format so it will work on your PC. One of the activities the children had to do was to identify key selling points of toys and which market they were aimed at, this was wonderful to see their responses.

Features an incredibly effective lesson leading onto an assembly to show how soul destroying racism really can be with links to Nelson Mandela. Is VERY powerful if done properly. Right to education, poverty, quotes and web-links also included. I have also included lots of additional resources on Nelson Mandela and a Teachers TV video and the video file and notebook file I used to try and illustrate drawing portraits. Powerpoint to aid teaching about David Hockney including photos of some of his work. Made personally, initially used with 9 year olds although could easily be adapted for older. I have also included a Powerpoint with information about him. NEW October, 2015 Due to the popularity of this resource I have included some additional work. A weekly plan I made for use with these resources A pdf. that can be printed out to make an enormous picture of his Artwork 'splash' on separate A4 pieces and put together like a jigsaw for display. On the UK site this resource is rated extremely highly 4.7 / 5 with reviews from users. I have included it at a lower price here for a short introductory period, enjoy!

Includes... -Uniquely designed 'Gunpowder Plot Story.' -Uniquely designed by myself 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire' that can be used for many other topics easily, all sounds effects etc included! -Uniquely designed article about how last year letters were discovered worth 60,000 -Powerpoint including fire safety points and fire safety advert. Also with a brief History of Bonfire night, all designed in the same sheet as the worksheets. Great as an assembly or for use in class. - Guy Fawkes poem -Task to alphabetically order key words -Highly detailed 'fact file' (4 page document) in which children are required to make their own simplified 'profiles' on the main conspirators of the Gunpowder Plot. In its current form a great activity for year 5/6 although very easily adapted for years 3/4. (Worksheet included.) -Simple Storyboard for younger / SEN children and a more complex one with space for more writing for older children. -The history of fireworks Powerpoint presentation -To try and help I have downloaded TWO videos from youtube, please note I do not claim to own these clips, just thought they may be useful if you were doing the topic. Another excellent video to watch with older pupils is the Nick Knowles 'Gunpowder Plot.'
