My roles to date have involved teaching all levels of maths from years 7 to 13 (including Further Mathematics.) I currently work as Head of Mathematics at Hollygirt School. In this role I have implemented a new scheme of work and liaised with the leadership team to produce a Mathematics handbook which details innovative teaching resources that I have created, provided medium and long-term planning, and led a Maths team to produce exemplar examination results. Throughout the pandemic I have developed online teaching using a combination of MS Teams , Bramble and my own You Tube channel – where I was able to maintain a continuous delivery of Mathematics. I am also an accredited NTP tutor for Connex Education and the Pearsons Tutoring Programme. Within Hollygirt School, I have been privileged enough to be able to show-case and trial self-developed strategies which help students understand the underlying principles of mathematics.
