#### GCSE Maths/Functional Skills- Keep Calm and Pass the Exam-L1

Includes
70 page workbook for self-study
L1 diagnostic linked to self-study workbook.
70 pages of L1 Functional Skills exam type questions with methods shown. I originally wrote this in conjunction with a diagnostic assessment for learners to do in the weeks before an exam when the main teaching was finished. Learners could use the diagnostic to identify areas they were weak at and use the workbook to focus on those areas in self-study. It could also work as a homework book or sections could be usedinstead of in class handouts. The book contains explanations and worked examples followed by exam style questions. Covers the functional skills maths Level 1 curriculum and topics are included such as, percentages, fractions, mean and range, bar charts, tables, scale drawing, reverse calculation and ratio. I based it on common mistakes and areas of weaknesses identified by the examiners. Learners have enjoyed using it and hopefully it will helped them pass their exams. The document is in Word so is easily editable.
