Resources I've made through my teaching years for all ability students but mainly for those struggling with attainment. There is always a focus on EAL, SEN, LA students who, I've found, find it easier to follow my lessons through these activities and differentiated lessons. Hope they are as useful to you as they were to me. Enjoy and leave me some feedback with anything you find useful, could be improved or you would like to see.

Literacy pack including mats, rules, reminders. For use in lessons, as intervention, as a reminder, to print out as seperate mats, displays etc. Includes resources I made myself and pics of resources I haven’t made myself but found useful. I’ve used it with EAL, SEN, LA students, even with KS4 students who think they know how to structure a sentence or how to spell (they don’t!). Hope you find it useful.

ESOL -Lesson 2- Punctuation

ESOL lesson with many activities divided in levels of difficulty (1a is low level). I had to teach a mixed-ability ESOL class so some students were much faster and able than others so I had to find a way to use time purposefully and challenge more able students. This is an ESOL lesson concentrated on greetings and various skills related to small talk and everyday conversations. Some students were 12, others were 16 so it contains an element of fun as well to keep everyone engaged and motivated. Hope it’s useful.
