2 HOUR lesson all about knife crime, who is particularly vulnerable to become involved and why and the measures the UK is taking to keep young people safe. Students will investigate the link with wider gang violence and influence, and the pressure put on gang members to commit illegal activities. A brand new lesson which explores why we still have sexism in society (with a focus on the UK). In the lesson, students investigate old tv commercials and explain whether or not they would be still suitable for modern audiences. Students will assess how attitudes have changed, as well as exploring cases affecting both males and females in the workplace and public today. Students will then analyse the best methods for fighting against sexism and gender discrimination in wider society, explaining why they have chosen these methods as the most effective.

What is bullying EYFS PSHE lesson.
A detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for EYFS/Reception age children. Created by our early years specialist, this lesson has been designed for use with children in Reception, however, the PowerPoint and activities could be adapted for use with other age groups.
In this lesson, the children will learn about good and bad choices, and the difference between being unkind as a ‘one-off’ versus bullying. The lesson includes a sing-along starter activity (to ensure a swift start to the lesson), a story with accompanying questions, an adult-led focus task, an independent activity to be carried out during continuous provision, and a plenary task.
Created to fit the new DfE and PSHE Association statutory 2020 /21 guidelines, the lesson includes a detailed PowerPoint, all editable with accompanying tasks and worksheets.
The lesson has been left editable and is filled with engaging activities. It is designed to be ‘no prep’, so you can just pick it up and use it, although it is still adaptable should you wish to.

**Fairtrade Fortnight 2024 **
A 1-hour, all new global Citizenship lesson suitable for KS2. In this lesson, the students will learn how the Fairtrade Foundation helps to prevent the exploitation and unfair treatment of farmworkers in developing countries.
We will discuss the role of the Fairtrade price guarantee in helping farmworkers to avoid poverty, and we will discuss the positive impact of the Fairtrade Premium on communities in developing countries.
The students will investigate the meaning of a ‘fair price’ when we look at the income distribution of a bar of chocolate sold in a developed country, such as the UK.
The lesson includes an information sheet, a video clip with questions, a Fairtrade problem solving task, and a plenary.
