Circuit Training Resources - 10 Station Card Set

(0)
This colourful and informative set of circuit training station cards would be useful to support delivery of any practical lesson. The set of 10 cards can be blown up to A3, printed in colour and laminated to create an informative learning aid to encourage students to use the correct technique at each station. Appropriate progressions are detailed to allow students to understand how they may add additional load and challenge at each station. Students may then develop their knowledge and understanding of targeted muscles groups at each station through the use of muscle diagrams. These cards would work well at any KS3 or KS4 practical PE session.

GCSE PE - Circuit Training - Circuit on a Page!

(1)
The circuit on a page is simply a 10-station circuit mapped out with clear technique descriptions, progression ideas and specific target muscles groups for each station. The circuit has been designed for a practical GCSE PE assessment and offers formative questions to encourage students to think about the advantages and disadvantages of circuit training, the purpose of the circuit itself and how to prepare effectively to avoid injury. The stations include a range of arms, legs and whole body exercises with a focus on developing overall cardio and muscular endurance. The circuit map would be suitable for CORE PE lessons or simply a health and fitness program.
