Year 8/9 Badminton Mastery Scheme of Learning
This scheme is aimed at Y8/9 pupils who have not taken part in Badminton previously in Y7 (therefore can be used at Y7 too).
It follows a mastery approach that means that rather than having specific lesson by lesson plans it looks at overall key areas of development:
Racket familiarisation and rallying,
Serving
Clears
Drop shots
The scheme gives warm ups, a wide variety of activities for each key area and opportunities for peer, self and teacher assessment. This allows teachers to differentiate lessons to fit the ability of each individual group.

Athletics Field Events Scheme of Learning
This scheme can be used across Y7 up to KS4 dependent on group ability.
It focuses on 6 key areas of field events:
Long Jump
Triple Jump
High Jump
Javelin
Discus
Shot
Each key area has a section outlining a variety of activities that can be used to formulate lessons.

Athletics Track Events Scheme of Learning
This scheme can be used across Y7 up to KS4 dependent on group ability.
It focuses on 4 key areas of track events:
Sprinting
Sprint starts
Middle distance
Relays

Baseline theory paper and mark scheme
Baseline theory paper and mark scheme we use with Y7 students that is easily adaptable to the sports you teach in the first term/year (currently includes questions on: XC, rugby, dance, indoor athletics that will only need the sport changing if you don’t do those particular sports).
